I’ve been to a few.

Make sure you have a place to go after the ceremony, and COMPLETELY exit there – after weddings, people want to give you big hugs and such, and if you don’t hightail it out of there, and then come back in later, it can get a little crazy and crowded.  I’ve been to some where the bride and groom didn’t process out, and it was just a wall of people trying to get to them.

It does add a much more casual air to the wedding, and if that’s what you’re going for – then it is right for you.  I’m personally not a big fan – I think it feels like "dinner theatre / wedding," but that’s my own thing.
