My fiance and I finally decided to have a Cabo San Lucas, Mexico wedding. I have been to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico about 7 or more times and really enjoy it there. Although when it comes to a wedding there I have the slightest clue. I have googled many different phrases about Cabo weddings and have found many websites that seem to be great. I guess I am looking for someone who has had a Cabo wedding for help. Advice on who to get as a photographer, coordinator or any good and bad experiences would help. Any good or bad experiences would help. Do’s and Don’ts. Anything.

You should check out http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum (the forum)– it’s a great resource for Destination Wedding brides! There is a board for just Cabo brides! Good luck!

My first suggestion would probably be to look for a hotel for your wedding because if you pick one of the all-inclusive hotels down in Cabo, you tend to have less choices on vendors and you may not need to research so much. I always have my clients do a brief visit to Cabo (if possible) to meet with the bakery, florist, and other vendors so that they get everything that they want or need. If you can’t do a visit, you can do everything by e-mail and phone. They have specific requirements on how to get your marriage license and your hotel coordinator may be able to assist you with that. It is a gorgeous place to get married—ENJOY!

Thank you both for your comments. I got a lot of ideas from the websites provided.
I have been to Cabo before but I would definately like to go before the wedding to meet with people and get things squared away and coordinated. I think we might plan to go down if we can make it happen I agree we definately will do that. Thanks for your advice CAWEDDINGPLANNER!
