(Closed) Cake & Punch reception questions?! Please help.

Would the clear fancy plastic dessert plates be less expensive?

I would think for a cake and punch reception things would be self serve.  You wouldn’t need place settings.  I’d just have everything available at and/or near the cake table.

I would avoid paper at all costs. And I like the idea of water glasses on the table with the pitchers. But I would have more than one glass per person for the punch. I would put in for another half. Is there some reason you are economizing on the dishes? They really aren’t that expensive to rent as I recall. Most likely even less than paper.
