A lot of people like almond, or coconut flavors and both are good summer flavors. There's also vanilla for those who don't like chocolate or lemon.
Chocolate and lemon are (I think) not totally traditional wedding cake flavors, so you may want to have one tier with white cake/buttercream if you like that at all (some people definitely will!). What about carrot cake? People seem to like that. :)
I love your idea of a different flavor for each tier. Too bad you can't serve one of each to everyone?! :) Or can you? And if you can, can you invite me? ;)

pineapple is a fun flavor, too. that's really good. we had carrot and it was really popular! Also an almond cake with strawberry mousse filling that went over really well
Thank you all for your opinions on this! I was really stumped for a while! Marigold you are too funny and you're right it would be nice if I could serve a little piece of each to every quest but whewww that would be tough! It is a good idea though. I love lemon so we've def decided on a lemon layer and a chocolate layer now for the other two. I believe we are going to do one just regular like yellow or butter cake and one strawberry? What does everyone think??? Don't hesitate to tell me what you think I'll listen to anything at this point ;) Thanks again girls! Have you ever had pistachio? I know it sounds weird but its really good! The last wedding I went to had it and chocolate!
White cake is coming nowhere near my wedding . ;)
I know there will be a chocolate layer with filling ( like mouse + berries or something ) . Probably a lemon layer for me too - my mom likes it . Fiance doesn't care - he doesn't like sweets, so I get to choose it all !

I am having a four tiered square wedding cake. My aunt is making both of our cakes so I know they will taste amazing but my question to you all is what goes together? I want a different flavor for every tier? My fiance wants chocolate for sure and I would love lemon. What else sounds good? I was thinking maybe some kind of spice cake but our wedding is in May wouldn't that be too much like a Fall flavor? Anyways, moving on any advice would be very much appreciated! Thanks girls!
