Try Bamboo Bakery. I have no idea about what they can or can't do on short notice, but their cakes are delish!
One thing you could always do is switch to cupcakes. We are going with Sprinkles cupcakes in Scottsdale - they only need a few days notice for a special order. But you are limited to what they are making that day.
Good luck!
www.teenycakes.com only needs 72 hours notice and they make really cute cakes of all kinds! I would also try Truffle Trolley (www.truffletrolley.com) or Piece of Cake. I've heard good things about these bakers (haven't used them myself...not yet, at least).
Good luck!

Help! I just got a call from the baker that is going to make my wedding cake. Due to unfortunate circumstances, she will not be able to make my cake any longer. My wedding is two months away. Does anyone know someone who can make a good cake on short notice?
