A cake ball cake?! NO WAY.
*minor freak out*
That cake is really, really awesome and definitely just made my day.
...I've been making cake balls for about a year, so I would absolutely consider doing this!
Cake balls are freakin' delish. I make them for any major holiday or birthday and people gobble them up. I Think this is a terrific trend and one I might employ!
oh my goodness SOMEONE needs to show this to Bakerella... the queen of cake balls herself!
@GaBGal... i was actually looking at Bakerella's site today.... i have to make these again
I LOVE cakeballs!!! I would totally do this! I think guests would love this!
That is awesome. I love cake bites, I've made them quite a few times. My friend was thinking of handing out ones similar to bakerella's wedding ones at her rehearsal dinner.
They are so tasty! My sister and brother in law had them at their wedding, along with cupcakes. They disapeared so fast, I had to steal one of their reserved ones to actually try and taste one. Literally. Such a great idea!
HAH! @ Corgi I was just about to say I saw these on your blog and I've wanted to try them ever since!!! I've never had them before but they look soooo yummy!
OMG! I would love to know how to make these!!! Recipes, anyone??
Didnt Celine Dion have a cake ball cake? (I could be totally wrong though....)
i love it!! it would actually make it more possible for a bride to make her own cake!
thats so pretty :) Really unusual as well! Amaaazing!x
If you're looking for cake balls or cake ball cakes in Iowa, check out Bite-Sized Bakery! www.bite-sizedbakery.com
Sugardaddy's in Columbus makes a brownie version in 8-10 different flavors. I own a small chocolate business, and I have made truffle tress that are similar in design. Plan on 2-3 (or more) cake balls per guest because they will FLY off the display. People will tend to forget how much they are eating because they are a couple of bites.

has anyone seen them at weddings yet? is it something you would consider??
the red velvet pic is not the 1st picture, its just to show you what they look like inside and obviously you can change flavours/colouring
