It's super cute, but I get where your coming from about the two bottom layers. It will definitely work, but would obviously look better if the bottom box was larger.
Maybe try to find a square box to do the bottom layer with if the store doesn't get the bigger box in soon! I think it would be plenty deep with three layers but again, it depends on the number of guests that you have coming, too.
I think that it looks great!! I see what you're saying, but I think that it is fabulous!
Mine was just 3 deep and we had 200 guests and it was plenty deep. I don't know that the 4th box is necessary

I'm a little unsure of my cake card box. What do you all think? The biggest problem I have with it is that the 2 bottom layers are the same size. They didn't have a biggest size but I think not doing the bottom one doesn't make it deep enough.
