I’m so happy to have this cake & dessert stand marked off my DIY to do list! Although it didn’t take all that long, I hit bumps along the way. I bought my friend a new light for his birthday and asked to take his old broken down brass chandelier. I had visions of bling.
It’s rather large, so it is difficult to get a good picture with just my iphone:
I even strung the glass crystal beads by hand 🙂
We will have a smaller 2-teired wedding cake and lots of different desserts (cheese cakes, brownies, cookies, cake pops, etc.). This will sit in the middle of a round table with lots of candle light to show off the sparkle (hopefully). I tested it with a 50 lb weight in the middle, and it held it just fine.
