I think red velvet is becoming increasingly more popular.  Its really yummy too, and its usually coupled with a cream cheese frosting.  I’m not sure of the rest.  We went with a yellow cake with vanilla custard and fresh strawberries.  We’re not too into the wedding cake so we just went with what we thought would be liked by the most people, gotta try to please the masses 🙂

I think almond flavored cake is the most “traditional” wedding cake flavor.  That’s what our cake lady told us anyway.  We’re doing almond with raspberry filling 🙂

My Future Sister-In-Law had white, which I thought was the most traditional. We’re doing almond with a fudge filling, and I’m super excited! We tried a few other more unique ones, but the almond was just sooooo good!

@blueshoes that sounds so good!

I have my cake tasting next month with my mom and Future Mother-In-Law so I am excited but kind of unsure…I want something yummy to me (and FH although he isn’t so into cake) but also to my guests 😉
