I can't seem to find a bakery that will make a small wedding cake for just the wedding party. I thought I found one and the lady was really nice. Unfortunately, I ended up talking with her boss today to schedule another time to meet and discuss my cake idea and the lady gave me the brush. "Oh we don't do that. Go get your cake at safeway then if you want a cake that bad." Thanks for making me feel really small lady on the phone. This is the second bakery I've talked to that has given me that kind of attitude for wanting to save money. All the budget websites I've found have recommended getting a smaller cake for the wedding party and a sheet cake somewhere else. Where do you find bakeries that are willing to do that? :(
