What do you think about cake pops for favors? Along with something else?

Were you thinking something like this? I think they would be super cute!

I'm always a fan of edible favors! We had a pair of french macaroons as favors and while some of the guests ate them right away, we had some guests tell us how much they enjoyed them later on or the next day. It was a nice way for them to remember the wedding.

i don't think they're tacky but i don't like the way they taste but most people seem to like them so i say go for it.  Aug2011Bride: we did French macarons from the best patisserie in vegas.

They look great but both me and FI are not fond of the taste and texture.  But who cares what I think, the poll say's they're a go!

I'm not a fan of favors in general, but I really don't care for edible ones. I'd prefer the cake pops during dessert-time.

Thanks everyone! I love the bride and groom cake pops! My colors are grey and yellow. Wonder if I can incorporate the colors for the bride and groom cake pops..?

@Katherine27:  If you want to incorporate your colors, you could use yellow and gray ribbon around the sticks as opposed to the polka dot ribbon that is shown. Or if you want more of a shocker, make the cake balls with white cake / white frosting and add in yellow food coloring. Then when your guests take a bite, they'll see your colors again!

    CAKE POPS ARE AWESOME!!

I'm currently in the (longish) process of starting up a home-run bakery. Cake pops are such a great idea! We are having a cupcake stand with a cutting cake on top for the bridal party, then a dessert table consisting of macarons, cake pops, marshmallow pops and a few other things which I haven't decided on yet.

I'm a chocoHOLIC, so we are also having small chocolate cadbury hearts for favours, see the pic below :)

I personally have never had a cakepop that wasn't dry and disgusting in taste. They're adorable but they never taste good...I'd go with a different adorable edible favor...

I was considering doing these and arranging them on a tiered stand since we aren't doing a groom's cake.

I'm surprised to hear people say they've had dry, gross cake pops!  The only cake pops/truffles I've had have been suuuuper moist and yumsville.  As long as you check them out beforehand, I'm sure they'll be great.
