I actually think it looks great as is! Whatever you decide will work out perfectly!
I think the brids in the pic would go nice with the sage blossoms!
I think that if you leave the top tier with a smaller vine/flower than the others, it will look good with the bird. Smaller as in thinner and just a little bit shorter like no flowers going over the top of the tier
I think it would look great without a topper. But the birds are really cute, and as long as they are not too big, I think that would like fine as well, if you wanted a topper. You can't go wrong either way!
I think that the cake is fine as is, and if you don't want the extra expense of a cake topper or don't want your cake to be too busy, don't get one. However, I voted for getting the bird topper because THEY ARE SO CUTE, and because cake toppers are a cute momento. =) Plus I think that the cake is pretty simple, so if you wanted to put a cake topper on, go for it!
(Though I might suggest getting a monogram, maybe, or a larger sugar flower like the ones on the cake, if you want to stick to simplistic things.)
Adorable topper but I think it will take away from beautiful simplistic design of the cake.
They could alter the design on the cake a little to make it not go all the way to the top level. But those birds are just so darn cute!! That is why I am having such a hard time deciding!! It looks nice as is but I also like those birds and it might be a cute momento : ) I guess I have a few weeks to think about it still...
I think it's fine, but I really love the little birdies. Sooooo precious! We have a busy cake and I felt like my cake looked naked without a topper =]
I love those birds! I agree with the posters who have said that the decoration on the top tier should be a bit thinner if you are going to use the topper, but it's so cute - I say go for it. I don't think it would be too busy with it.
I think your cake would like fantastic on its own without a topper. But the little birds are too cute! I would buy them anyway and put them to another use decorating the gift table or guestbook area ;)
The birds are adorable! But I think it would take away from the design of the cake. How about something really simple? Like your last initial - in stainless steel? =)
those birds are adorable!! Where did you find that photo??
I agree with the majority - smaller cherry blossom design and the birds will work. Otherwise, no topper ![]()

I am not sure if we should get a cake topper. We are getting a cake similar to the cherry blossom design - only instead of the red/pink leaves/blossoms they will be a sage greenish color. I am debating if we should leave it as is or get one. I don't want it to look too much with one.
