I didn't get married there, but I've been there. :) Like any Lake Tahoe casino, there will be a lot to do in a beautiful setting for a reasonable price. Cal Neva is on the North Shore, but it's only about half an hour from both Tahoe city and Truckee, so there's lots of choice when it comes to hotels, restaurants, etc... I think it would be a beautiful location for a wedding!
A family friend got married there over the summer. I couldn't go, but I heard it was quite pretty. The staff took care of a lot of stuff and it was convenient to have a place for all the guests so that people weren't driving drunk. Great way to have a rockin party!
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, there were fears that Cal-Neva was going to go bankrupt. Obviously it didn't happen this summer but you may want to check into the possibility before booking with them.
