Hey Everyone!!!

I recently moved to a suburb in between Cleveland and Akron Ohio. I need to find a talented calligrapher to address our envelopes in a couple months, and possibly do our seating cards as well. We would like something similar to the picture Ms. Champagne posted previously.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I can find names online, but I am nervous about hiring someone without any knowledge of references - it's hard to find vendors when you are new to the area! haha

Our wedding is in NY (where we moved from), so we are use to dealing with people there. We decided to cancel our NY calligrapher because it would be too difficult to get the invites to her and mail them from there.

Haha... fancy seeing you on here. I was surprised by the coincidence of your post until i saw your name.

I have the name of a great Calligrapher in Cleveland/Akron... I think she's on the east side of Cleveland but I'm blanking. Her name is Helen Mercer and I don't have her number with me right now, but I can get it for you from my mom..shoot me a message on facebook to remind me and I'll get it to you ASAP. She does BEAUTIFUL work.

nice. I thought you'd know people in Boston, but not in Cleveland, haha. I should have known you have the hookups in both states! And double irony... I was surprised that anyone had an answer for this, then saw your name and thought, "of course she knows!".
