just line them after. it will also save you on envelope liners since the calligrapher is bound to mess up on some.
They dont like liners because they use light boxes to see through the envelopes.

I am trying to save as much money as possible on calligraphy. All of the calligraphers I have contacted charge extra money for a lined envelope, but I am planning on lining the envelopes myself. Do you think I can have the calligrapher address them while they are unlined, and then I could add the liner after? Is this a ridiculous idea? I have no experience with lining envelopes yet, so I don't really know what it entails. What advice do you have? Thanks in advance!
