What do you have left to do?
We're getting married on 4.10.10 also and we're pretty much done with all of our planning. I just have to finish our programs and aisle runner, plus get my dress altered (I have an appt on Thursday).
Good Luck!
We are pretty much done as well. Just a few minor things left.
My hotel block ends next week, and after I get the final count of rooms, I will get started on the out-of-town boxes.
We have to meet with our priest one more time and then I will begin on the programs once I have the exact ceremony order done. They are pretty much done but I need the final okay and then I can get them printed.
Dress is completely finished and my bridals are on the 14th.
Wedding invites are out and we have received about half of the RSVPs so far with a cutoff date of 3/10.
I still need to do a run through at the reception hall with the owner to go over table placement.
Other than that....
What have you done so far? And what do you still want to do?
Ok... so here is my LIST. This is everything I need to take care of.
Am I a little behind? In the last month, I have gotten pretty much everything done...I just need to put things together.
You're doing fine. That list can totally be completed by the 10th. You have 5 weekends left. Enough to put together your favors and centerpieces. I would be rushing on the photographer though.
Great job!
DIY Rae: You are fine! It's amazing what you can accomplish in that time period. I was feeling really behind for a while, having planned a lot of the big-ticket vendors a year in advance and then waited until a few months before to start doing to smaller details. Then... an immediate family member got very ill... wedding planning went out the window for a good month! I'm right there with you on the timeline. We even bought my fiance's wedding ring on my lunch break the other day! Making the most of every spare second :)
We are almost there girls! Can't wait! I still have to fold the programs and tie ribbons on them and box our little candy airplanes. I have started boxing all the items to get them ready for the trip to the venue. I have my last meetings with all my vendors next week. Then it is back to the waiting game.
You can totally get through that list, and maybe even delegate some of the research to other friends or family if they're willing to help.
We've got a few things left to do: seating arrangements, payments, etc. And we delegated a whole bunch of stuff to our moms.

Where are you at with your weddings? I have been planning my wedding for 6 months and I know I was already far behind, but I feel like Im really far behind. I need to see where everyone is to adjust to where I need to be. I can't figure out how to prioritize.
Thanks for your input bee's!
