@thumpurr:  I don’t want to post a photo of myself, but I did not wear a veil and this is the hairpiece I custom ordered off Etsy (my flower girl wore the smaller one):

@thumpurr:  I’m not wearing a veil . . . my wedding hasn’t happened yet so here is a pic of the little thing I’ll have in my hair.  Just not sure how yet.

I’m not wearing a veil — and here is a picture of my headband from my hair trial yesterday:

I’m not wearing a veil. I bought a 3-inch ivory feather flower on a hairpin to put in my hair. Unfortunately I have no pics of it :/

Following this thread.  I got into an argument trying on dresses yesterday over this! I do NOT want a veil. If anything flowers or a birdcage. Mom and sis were NOT happy about it…

I found cute little silver and rhinestone plumerias at the mall the day before the wedding which we absolutely perfect.

I also decided pretty early on that didn’t want to wear a veil because I wanted a fancy feather fascinator. I had it made on Etsy and it was perfect.

@thumpurr:  A veil is way too formal for me too. I also don’t do well with the fabric in front of my face. I tried on a few when I got my dress and it didn’t go/work well.

I love how the fresh flower looks in your hair!

@thumpurr:  I had my florist add fresh flowers and succulents to a white headband with a bow. It was kept in the fridge the night before the wedding and it stayed fresh and beautiful for the entire wedding. I re-planted the succulents to keep!

@thumpurr:  That is Beautiful! You could do something like this with quality silk flowers too if you were wanting to ensure longevity.

@thumpurr:  I feel like I heard somewhere about using hairspray on fresh flowers to keep them from wilting during the day.  But maybe I made that up.  Try google, I’m sure someone figured it out somewhere!

And the flowers look really great too!
