@JamaicaBride: We had those EXACT centerpieces at our reception, and they looked AMAZING!!! You will love them
We used discs of two different diameters: for tables with 3 mason jars, the discs were 14" in diameter. For tables with floral centerpieces, the discs were 10" in diameter.
FYI - I purchased the wooden discs at Michael's Craft Store, as well as the 3 different sizes of mason jars.
I wish we had our professional pictures back so that I could show you pictures! If you haven't already purchased your wooden discs and are interested in purchasing mine, send me a PM :)
Can't wait to see how your centerpieces turn out!
Sooo....I went to Wal-Mart to pick up something for dinner and while I was there I picked up my mason jars, a plastic white tablecloth, some ribbon, and some cheapy mixed flowers so I could do a trial run. I plan on using the glass paint to "make" the mason jars blue. I am posting pics of just the runner and with one of my beaded tablemats...b/c I don't currently have any slices of wood. My floral colors will be pink, orange, green, and yellow.

I really like it! Good job!! I saw somewhere about how to make mason jars blue, let me see if I can find it..

What size slabs did you use? I plan on doing the mason jars in 3 sizes on a wood slab which will be sitting on a runner. I am not sure what the circumference of the wood slabs should be. 12", 18", larger? I would love to see some pics and measurements from those bees that have used wooden slabs as centerpieces...please and thank you
