hello! I am terrible at colors and what not so would love all your opinions!
We are getting married Sept 12 so it will still be warm/summer ( leaves will be green)
below are pics of my venue…do you think my colors will look ok? I think they might be too light or cold for the venue… My (potential) colors are blush, white, shades of green. Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses will be blush The chairs will be green (uncovered) and Ill use white linens. Im just concered they are too like light for such a pub-y feel
I am totally open to other ideas and would love to hear it

@Boxerlover24: I think it sounds gorgeous! I love the “cool” colors and think they will definitely look good in the space. The walls look neutral so you could really do whatever you want, in my opinion.

@Boxerlover24: I think it would work. You have a very neutral colored venue.

@Boxerlover24: Honestly, I think you should have whatever colors you like best. I had an October wedding, in the Chicago burbs, and *gasp* used white, ivory, silver, and green for my decor. I like green, I like white, I even had tulips in my flower arrangements because they are in season (who knew tulips had a second season) and I like them!
Who says you need to have dark colors in the fall? I say, go with your light colors, I think they will look gorg against the natural wood features at your venue.

@kat912: & @jaijaig88: Thank you both! I am pretty horrible at all these things so I really appreciate everyones input. I also want lighter colors that go with the chairs ( green) as I don’t want to pay for covers or chivaris
@jules24chi: Thank you! Interesting about the tulips ( I love them, very pretty!)
I really love the blush Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses too. Hopefully my friends ( one of whom who has bright and very beautiful red hair ) will like the color!

Honestly, I think all of your desired colors are actually in that photo you put up, and I’m not just talking the temporary tables and chairs. I mean they are inherent to the building elements themselves, which is lovely.
So they’ll coordinate naturally with things (ignore the carpet, no one remembers the way the carpet looked at a venue after a wedding – do you?)
I think your colors are light and airy, and will compliment the sky (from sunlight to sunset to twiglight) in the dramatic floor-to-ceiling glazing. Compliment is important – the colors won’t compete, and I think they will be a soothing contrast to the saturated colors outside.
