Probably not going to be much help, but I’m having 10 bridesmaids and they’re all staying at the hotel (all guests are from out of town anyway).  I’m having my stylist do everyone’s hair in my room (giant suite), and the wedding and reception are both at the hotel.

I have six bridesmaids and I considered that average or smallish. We’re all spending the night at our own houses, their driving themselves everywhere, and they have ghe option if they want to get their hair and make up professionally done at the church where we are getting ready

I have 7 bridesmaids! I will be at the hotel the night before, we will have our ceremony & reception at the same location. I have invited them all to stay, although I think only about half are planning on it. We are all getting our hair & makeup done professionally. The hair/makeup person is coming to the hotel to do it all there. We have no need for transportation, since we will already be there.

@Tallulah_:  I have 6 bridesmaids… I’m getting a 2 bd/2 ba suite and any of the girls that want to can stay with me the night before. At thr very least it will be me, my sister, and my cousin. I’m having the makeup/hair artists come to the hotel… So the girls that don t stay the night can  just come in the morning to get all done up. We’re going to have one room for makeup, one bathroom for hair… One room for me to get ready and my mom to hide out in, one open bathroom and living room for everyone else lol. We are having a limo drive us to the venue… And the hotel is going to provide a shuttle back to the hotel for those staying there, otherwise they will carpool back.

I had 6 bridesmaids! I paid for their hair/make up and the hotel the night before! I also rented their dresses for them! And the limo took us from the hair and make up place to the church!

All this was in a package that I had! (Not the hotel) But hair, make up, rental dresses, limo, photographer, videographer. It was awesome.

I have 8 Bridepeeps! 5 live close by. 3 are out of town, I told them they can stay with me or stay at one of the hotels with our discount card. I told them I’m getting my hair/make up done for cheap at a blow dry bar in town. I told them to inform me what they want done so the bar knows what to expect. Then we’re going to my house to get ready and take 2 or 3 cars over to the ceremony site.

@Tallulah_:  I had NINE bridesmaids! 🙂

  • Are you spending the night before the wedding with them? At your house? a hotel?

I stayed at one of their houses with two others.  The rest came in the morning.  Some had their hair and make up already done, while others still needed it done.  My make up and hair lady came to the house then finished me up at the venue.

  • The morning of: are you all getting your hair professionally done? Are you all going to the same salon/house that you’re getting your hair done at?

I guess I answered that already.  Hahah

  • Are you transporting the bridesmaids to the ceremony location? If so, how?

We all took separate cars with two – four girls in a car.

@Tallulah_:  I have 7 bridesmaids.

  • Are you spending the night before the wedding with them? At your house? a hotel? The rehearsal dinner is at my dad’s house ( a big July 4 bbq). I plan to invite all bridesmaids to stay over with me (my dad has 3-4 bedrooms). However, most of them have significant others and I don’t know if they will want to leave them since they will all have to travel to my wedding (between 40-1 hr). For example, one is flying in from Texas so I doubt she will want to leave her BF alone (who knows no one) at a hotel overnight just so we can sleep in the same house. My sister will definitely be there – as well as one bridesmaid who is single.

  • The morning of: are you all getting your hair professionally done? Are you all going to the same salon/house that you’re getting your hair done at? We are paying for hair / make up for all of the girls. We will be going to the salon where I regularly get my hair highlighted/done. My stylist owns the salon and has 4 people working for her so they will all work on us. I can’t wait. I think this will be one of the best parts of the day!

  • Are you transporting the bridesmaids to the ceremony location? If so, how? After hair and makeup, we will either go to the hotel or bridal suite at my venue to put our dresses on. Since we are doing photos before the ceremony, we will meet up w/the groomsmen and my FI to do the photos. We have rented a mini bus that fits 24 for 3 hours to transport from our getting ready locations to wherever we take pictures – probably a park nearby/then the venue. We also have a 40 person bus to transport our friends/family from the hotel to the venue and back at the end of the night (we are all big partiers!). This way – we all can leave our vehicles at the hotel and not worry about drinking and driving.

I have 7 girls, I didn’t even think about where we were all going to be the night before until like 2 days ago when one of them asked me about it. I think we are going to get a room and anyone who wants to come stay can. They are in charge of hair and makeup, of course they know not to get out of hand. They are all so different, I want them to be themselves. They are all wearing different colors and different dresses so might as well let them be completely different. Lol. We did reserve the entire homestead where our ceremony is so the majority of us getting ready will be right next door to where the ceremony is.

@Tallulah_:  I had 6 bridesmaids. We all went out the night before the wedding but didnt spend the night together. My MOH spent the night at my house because she lives in another state so it was easier.

The morning of the wedding, we met at 9am at the bridal suite of the venue. We had brunch, a mimosa bar, and a MUA was there doing our hair. Some of us got our hair done at the venue in the bridal suite and the others already had their hair done (I didnt require it nor did I pay for it).

My ceremony and venue was at the same location. If it wasnt, I would have hired a limo or party bus to get us to and from each location.
