I purchased a cardigan to wear during the reception. Black with flower appliques from Express. It got draped over a chair and abandoned at the end of the reception. I hope it fit someone on the wait staff.
Sorry no pictures. I never ended up wearing it. Probably kept warm with all the booze. :)
I'm definitely wearing a cardigan, at least for some of the pictures. Prob not at the party as it's indoors. Cardigans are my uniform in every day life- I have 19 of them! I don't have any pics though, my wedding's far away so I don't even have a dress yet. But I will probably get the Jackie from J. Crew
OMG. I had the hardest time finding a mustard yellow cardigan anywhere! Just finally found a Charter Club at Macy's. Yes it's for Grandma's, but the price and color were just right!

Wedding colors are this color yellow, gold and purple!
I bought a cardigan from jcrew randomly and when I got it, i noticed that it was perfect for the wedding! Totally matches the BM dresses and is dressed up with some flowery details. I plan on wearing it during some of our outside pictures and after the reception, when we head to the bar or just on the walk to the hotel. My only problem is whether I should wait to wear it until the wedding day as I fear that I'll ruin it in the meantime!
@MUI831: oh hai! Yeah. Wait till the wedding. You don't want it to get dirty/shrink etc.
I wore a cardigan! Not until later in the evening, when it turned chilly, but I got a ton of compliments when I put it on. :)

For those of you that wore/are planning to wear a cardigan on your wedding day (or later in the evening etc), care to share?
We're having a split reception (or after party I suppose) and I know that even in the middle of July it will still get chilly enough in the late evening & night to want to have covered shoulders so I'm looking for some inspiration & maybe a little link love for white/ivory/cream cardigans.
Any takers? Bonus points (can I bribe you with cookies?) for pictures!
