What about a dating jars for eachother for change, and when they are full the other person gets to chose what date you go on with the money.
I'm not sure if you like the movie UP, but I LOVE it. I made UP inspired v-day gifts this year.
In the dollar seciton of Target I picked up a mini mailbox which I painted with our names to look like the one in the movie:

I also made a small "Adventure Book" that we can write in, like this:

DH LOVED these (we had v-day early because he left for a month of training... boo!). And, it was dirt cheap! I spent a total of $1!
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
UP adventure book is so amazing...holy romantic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...okay I thought about it even more..and I actually started to cry...
This is it...thank you so much @shambly
@Irishb: You're so welcome! Oh, and I should mention... the mailbox sits out in the open and we put little notes and treats inside and put the flag up. We don't say anything to each other about it... but when they notice the flag they get a treat!
For example, when he gets back from Army training, there will be a G.I. Joe inside with a cute little note! It's the gift that keeps giving (for both of you!)
@shambley: Such a sweet idea.
I can't deny that just looking @ the pictures makes me tear up, thinkin' about the beginning of that movie. Saddest/sweetest part of any Disney movie, probably!
didn't like Up but the beginning was cute :)
@Mouse217: i think the bit where the Beast 'dies' in Beauty and the Beast is the sweetest, but everyone has different tastes :)
@Jacqui90: You know, I didn't like Up that much either, as a whole. It sort of took an odd turn for me. But yes, the beginning is... *sighs* Ha ha
I was never that big a fan of Beauty & the Beast as a kid, but went & saw it in 3D recently & thought, "Wow. I can see why this is often cited as the best animated Disney film." The music is fantastic.
I did like these Up engagement shots, though! Cute idea.

Hi everyone,
I need help deciding what to make my hubby for Vday. We have made each other gifts every year we have been together.
So far I have made the following:
homemade cards
dinner and dessert
love bank (decorated box filled with reasons why I love him)
coupons
slideshow
candy bouquet
tee-shirt with all of our lovey dovey saying on it
I need some suggestions...I am running out of ideas..and I am really not talented in the craft world...
