Okay, so I have this problem. I love to write, and I can make a mean parapgraph but when it comes to summing things up into a witty title, I go blank! I’m no good at one liners, at least not under pressure!
I want to make a new blog. I’ve had my blog adventures over the years, some have been better than others but none have been quite right or what I was looking for. I’ve just never been able to find something that I have enough to write about. But I believe I have the thing now!
I have recently, in addition to going processed free a while ago, gone gluten-free and dairy-free for allergy reasons.(Ahahaha. Fairy-free! Thank goodness for a quick proofread!) I also avoid corn and soy, and when you add all these things together, you get a whole lot of not a lot of choices!! Or so I thought. What you really get is the need to do a whole lot of cooking in order to do any kind of decent eating!
My dietary changes have spawned a whole new creative cooking side out of neccesity, and I think I finally might have found my blog niche! I really want to share my recipes and stories and ideas and I think a blog with probably make a few of my Facebook friends hate me less!
Like I said, I am so stuck on a name! I really want to come up with something catchy and good for once! I think it will help people get interested plus help me stay interested!
I really want to name this blog! Bees, will you help me?!

@lalalyanne: while I can’t help you on the blog title, I am looking forward to reading your blog, as my diagonis with celiac disease when I was 2 months shy of my 18th birthday (9 years ago), has me eating gluten-free.
Hope some of the other bees can help you out with the blog title!!

I’m thinking about calling it “I can’t think of a name”
I kid I kid, but its tempting!!

I’m not a native English speaker, so I cannot think of anything witty in English… When you want to expand your audience, ask me again and I will provide you with a nice Spanish title hahaha
I’m also looking forward to reading your blog!!!

Eating Clean: GF & DF
Probably keep the name easy for everyone to remember; for example, gf_df.wordpress.com or something like that

Nutrimental (adj.) relating to nourishment
Emphasizing the ‘mental’ to describe the mind-over-matter approach to your lifestyle and diet

@lalalyanne: I can’t help you with a title, but please keep me in the loop! I have to eat gluten and dairy free, and I’m also allergic to soy! I have a really hard time with it, so I’m sick often 🙁

@letigre: I will keep you updated for sure! Can’t lie, it hasn’t exactly been an easy adjustment but there are things you can do to make it more manageable and it does eventually get easier once you’re armed with the right tools and information!
@shaka: I’m really intrigued by this!! Its defintely along the lines of what I’m looking for, for sure! Concise, witty and extremely brief!
@Cynderbug: Definitely a good call on an easy to remember url! I will for sure keep that in mind! “Eating Clean” is a fairly well used title and I don’t want to base what I’m doing neccesarily ON the clean eating philosophy. I’m just not sure exactly I want to tie into the concept. We do eat fairly “clean” but the “clean” “dirty” movement irks me a little, I try to just call it healthy whole foods. I know some people (even some health nuts I know) take a little offense to the “clean” mentality. It implies that outside of those rules is kind of “dirty” I know it doesn’t actually mean that but I don’t want to accidentally lose a group of readers who might read if I wasn’t based on ‘clean eating’ if you get what I mean?
@cowoman: I think there’s a travel company called Free and Easy. But on the right track, I like how it flows but I don’t want to encroach on anyone’s already established name.
@skinnypinkmartini: Thanks! I look forward to sharing it 😀 If I ever do a Spanish edition I’ll come fine you 😉
