I don't know how many CT bees are out there, but I've been curious for awhile! Would anyone be interested in doing a CT bee meet up? Maybe a CT/MA meetup? I was thinking sometime after the holidays, maybe the end of January?
I'm in if it's not too far away, I'm NW of Boston :-).
@Future MrsB: I'm around Boston too.. maybe we should have a separate Boston meetup if the CT one is too far!

How far is everyone willing to travel? I'd like to try to do something in the middle of everyone so it's not too far from anyone!

BayStateBride had the idea that we could go to the casino, that way if it's a bit of a drive anyone who wants to stay the night can, and you know, it would be a blast! Thoughts?
I'm in the Hartford area as well. Since I'm preggers though I don't think the casino is a good idea because of the smoke :/ However, don't feel like you have to change it just for me.

@mwitter80: Oh, I'm sorry. I know you're pregnant, I should of thought of that! I completely forgot about smoke at the casino. I have no problem with doing something else. It looks like the Boston bees are planning their own meetup so we could do a CT meetup somewhere in the Hartford area since it looks like that's where we're all from!
I don't have any specific ideas...just wanted to chime in, say something in Hartford would be great and I think we should do it!
How does January 28th sound to everyone? Maybe we could meet for lunch or dinner?
I'd be up for a meetup! I'm by the shore (Waterford), but Hartford isn't too bad - only 45 minutes or so. So, depending on the details, I may be able to come.

The 28th is DH's 30th bday party. That doesn't work for me either.
I already PMed you @MissBoPeep:- but I am also in the Hartford area. Weekends work best for me and since you aren't planning on meeting up until the end of January or February, I can't drive more than like an hour (school and work and kids). Maybe a Saturday evening somewhere go out for dinner, like Olive Garden or some other restaurant where we can all get a table and talk over food.

@armychica06: Maybe the Olive Garden in West Hartford would work then? Saturday afternoons/evenings work best for me. Pretty much any Saturday in January except the 7th, or early February would be ok!
I was thinking that Olive Garden too! I know we have many people trying to be apart of this but if we have a consensus, let's make a concrete plan. Whoever shows up, shows up and we can do a second or third for those that can't make the first.

@armychica06: we looked there but went with a condo closer to Stanley Quarter. We live about five minutes from each other.

@armychica06: We can reserve a table under whatever name you want! Any ideas for a code name? I'm useless when it comes to being creative so I googled "funny code names" and the best I got was "Empty Ostrich". Not really feeling that one, lol!
I was just about to make a post- it is suppose to snow all day on Saturday.
I live nearby the restaurant so I don't mind however I am not sure about everyone else. Sunday is a clearer day is anyone wants to change plans. I have next Saturday free (my venue tasting is Friday) but I know that day wasn't working with some folks. I don't want to push this out too far though- I want to meet you guys- what should we do.
