Gorgeous dress! I think you’re right — it can handle some bling. Particularly if you’re going for a cathedral veil, you’ll want some sparkle shining through.

I’m not sure what your preference is (modern, vintage, silver, gold) but check out these chandelier earrings — always an great style to add sophistication and whimsy to your look:

As for the flower or brooch, I think either would work. Pick your earrings first and then see which one complements the overall look. Keep in mind that you’ll want to find a balance and not have too many huge sparklies (ring, earrings, brooch) detracting from YOU. That said, this is also the time — if ever there was a time — when you can really take it up a notch and go for full-on glamour! Depends on your style.

Good luck!

Your dress is so simple and streamlined- I love it. What about some beautiful art deco rhinestone earrings?

The “Princessa” earrings you linked to are my fave of the three, but I also love the art deco ones texaslawgirl mentioned!

if you have chandelier earrings, i wouldn’t do a brooch on the dress. i think small-ish earrings with a vintage brooch would be great. it’d be elegant and sleek but have a sense of history to it – in keeping with the castle. a simple cathedral veil (look in the gallery) without lace trim, etc would be a great touch too i think.

it really depends on the look you’re trying to achieve. how would you like to be described on your wedding day?

that’s exactly the sort of veil  i was thinking about tho in a single tier, the one you have has a blusher on it, which adds extra volume when you flip it back (omg! did i just write that? i didn’t even know what a blusher was 6 months ago!)

between the chandeliers and brooch: i guess the question is: which one will you likely wear more, does it matter? in addition, are there any other jewelery pieces (borrowed, old, etc) that you might want to wear and how does it fit with the overall look?
