This is more of a lace sheath than the one you’ve posted…straight, slim fit. I love them! Did you get pictures?

I would have loved to…but I will be 8 months pregnant and it just wouldn’t work πŸ™ I bought lace shoes instead…lol.

I’m full figured, and sheath style dresses are definitely not flattering on me, lol. I would love to see some full figured ladies rocking them, though!

mine is going to be a emipre waist sheath style dress for the reception but it hasnt came in yet (ordered it from online after trying on some in store samples to save money). i would love to see a lace sheath on someone. i had tried one on before and maybe it was the lace on that particular dress but i kinda felt like i was wrapped in a tablecloth so needless to say that was out! i ended up getting an empire waist that has a lace like detail under the bust and sandals πŸ˜›

@SugerPlum: well this is mine but as i am having it made i cant post my photo yet but i am a size 16 right now with “proper” hips < well thats how the dressmaker described them lol.

she said that it;s all about the woman in the dress if you love it then flaunt it  sorry the photo is huge.

i am a partial wheel chair user so it will be a tighter skirt than this!!!

I don’t know what the official definition of full-figured is, but I’m definitely larger than the models in the pictures. I’m 5’3, 183 lbs, and I’ll be wearing a lace sheath. I’m pear-shaped, rather than full-figured I guess. Here’s me in my dress (size 16 Maggie Sottero Gatsby; I’m a street size 10/12):

Hope this helps! I wasn’t going for a sheath originally but I LOVE this dress. I think the shape can be very flattering if you use a corset back to emphasize a waist. At least, that’s my theory.
