jar111415:  I have noo idea! I ordered from etsy.. here is a side view pic next to a band…

It doesn’t look like it is too high- Im hoping it wont get caught on things when I’m wearing it.

Mine’s smaller at 1.2 carats, but it’s elongated and on a plain shank.

jar111415:  my husband picked it out all by himself. I wasn’t involved in the ring specifications or setting AT ALL. If it had been up to me, I would have just had a fairly simple claddaugh ring with pave diamonds. However, he’d always imagined a solitaire.

beeFANTASTIC:  ours look very similar!! I think your stone might be a little bigger than mine- I was told it would be 1.5 equivalent 😀 (also from etsy.. Twinsies!)

Mrs-mcm-0507:  YAY! I ordered mine in a 1.8 eq… do you have a pic of yours? Would love to see it! Also, did you get yours from RosadosBox too?

beeFANTASTIC:  I didn’t actually. I spoke with her and almost did order, but I ended up going with someone else from etsy, I wanted an 18k gold and a smaller stone, and he was just more available to suit my specifications. Ordered a couple weeks ago, don’t have it in yet. But here’s my picture 🙂

curious.. What type of wedding band are you going to wear with it?

We decided on moissanite for mostly financial reasons, I wanted a certain look and just wasn’t willing to spend $10+ to get it. I’m so glad I found  out about this stone. I love all the other things about moissanite too. Ethics, brilliance and durability, and the cutest story about meteors?! Like just too good to be true :)… Very excited!

Mrs-mcm-0507:  I love your setting! Very similar to mine! What size finger are you? If you don’t mind my asking… I am debating if I should email her and ask for for the smaller stone (1.4 ct eq, which would be closer to yours…) I have a size 6.5 finger and I don’t want it to look gaudy on me so now I’m second guessing my decision for the larger stone.

As far as the band goes- my hubby liked a vintage inspired band with pave diamonds that kind of looks like a lot of the bands that are so popular right now but I really wanted something a bit different since the band of the ERing is very simple. Maybe like one of those “twist” bands… I will post pics of what I am thinking of here later today so you have a better reference.

I am going to wait to actually purchase the wedding band until Black Friday- I would rather not buy from those big chain jewelry stores but if I can get something similar on sale, I am all for that! If I can’t find anything there then I will probably purchase on Etsy or from the local jeweler that my hubby saw that band at.
