I can’t speak for anyone with an amora, I think it’s the amora gem that is on a waiting list? Please, someone correct me if I’m wrong. I have a forever brilliant old european cut, and I love love love my ring. It’s gorgeous and has a ton of character. I’ve had it for a few months now, and I still can’t get over the beauty of the stone. My ring is from mco, and we just ordered my wedding band from mco 2 nights ago (EEE!). Here are some pics (all in different lighting), good luck picking a ring!! Oh, my center stone is a 1.25ct, size 7 ring.

Ohitsjustdrea:  Old european cut is different than round brilliant because it is cut like old diamonds used to be. It has a higher crown and a smaller table. Also has an open culet. I prefer the OEC because the flashes of light are more rainbow-y and chunkier due to the different facets.

Ohitsjustdrea:  Thank you! I’m not very knowledgable when it comes to anything amora, but I know many ladies here are. All I know is that I am super happy with my ring. My stone being an OEC tends to show more color than a rb I believe, but I never see it. I think the amora is supposed to be the whitest moissanite possible (I THINK). But honestly, from pictures that I have seen, my opinion is that it really doesn’t look that much different. But then again, sometimes it is very hard to tell with pictures. Hopefully someone can help you out with the amora information better than I can haha.

I’ve had a forever brilliant round for over 4 years and I love it.  My stone is on the “smaller” side (6mm/0.75ct) and I haven’t had any issues with it showing color (diamond sidestones), however if you’re planning on getting 1ct+ it might be worth looking into the Amora since it’s supposed to be whiter.

Someday_Mrs_Maguire:  your ring is so pretty.

OP I have a 6.5mm RB Forever Brillant. It’s white 99% of the time but it gets moody sometimes and I love it, it has a lot of character. Sorry the pic is so big
