Hi ladies, if you have a diamond color G H I J could you post and tell us which one it is? I want to see if it makes a difference. Also I have very fair skin with pinkish undertones- does skin color effect the perception of the diamond color? Thanks a million, look forward to your pics!

G. Asscher’s show more color, but I rarely see it. ETA: Metal choice will affect how much color shows more than your skin color. Something set in yellow gold will look yellow, in rose gold it will look pinker, and in white gold it will look more colorless.

The light is what makes the difference to my ring the most. Yuo can see in the pic below that the center diamond is a few shades darker, but in strong sunlight it doesn’t show much.

My diamond is “J” color and I was surprised when I learned that, because it seems pretty white to me! But as PP said, I think the color of the metal affects the diamond. Also, mine is .37 carats, so a bigger diamond in the same “near colorless” range might look less white?

The light totally makes the difference…With the way the ring looks and the bling that it projects. Side note I need to work on my hands, the look so wrinkley….

What beautiful rings you all have–thanks for sharing! (I originally got a DNL but I think we’re going to go for smaller but real diamond. Though there are tons of beautiful simulants on these boards!!!)
asscherlover I feel like the light makes so much of a difference, the bottom shot looks much whiter than the top shot, but a beautiful stone all around! Asschers are so cool and unique.
tfm, fvsoccer, FutureMrsW2013 what color are yours exactly?
Sunflower Skies I’m totally shocked that’s a J, it looks so clear and white! Awesome!

It’s set in rose gold and the stone’s color grade is… drumroll… J! I can only see a color difference in very harsh, yellow light.
My man did GOOD!
