I have a few pairs of JC’s (platform stilettos included) and can honestly say they are super comfortable. I actually find them more comfortable and often more practical then louboutins.

i’m also deciding on whether Jimmy Choos are worth the splurge or not. =) it would be great to get everyone’s opinions.

Whilst I didn’t wear them for my wedding, due to a ban on stilettos in my venue, I was given a pair of 5″ Jimmy Choo courts which I wore to head out on honeymoon (c. 20 hour journey time). I’ve since worn them for very lengthy nights out and days on my feet and they’re still pretty comfortable.

@ktdmarie:  hmm can’t say I would recommend any heels for an all day event but…

yes, I would highly recommend choos – it would be best to order 2 different sizes and return one so you can get a feel for how they fit.

I’ll be wearing the vamp for my wedding.  The mary jane ones are also my favorite and most comfy for dancing.

I have the second pair…they’re amazing, and you don’t have to worry about them slipping off (especially if you’re getting married outside!)

I think Jimmy Choo makes the most comfortable heels in the world. Be careful though, some of the styles do run a bit small so you might need to order a size up.

These were my wedding day shoes. I wore them the whole day and most of the reception until it came time to dance. I had to switch out for a pair of flats bc my reception dress was altered too short.

@ktdmarie:  I see that this thread is 3 weeks old but wanted to weigh in anyway. I love love love Choos. They’re the most comfortable designer I’ve found (as compared to Louboutin, Alaia, and Blahniks). But I do find that fit/comfort changes depending on style– maybe bc of the foot model being used? I’ll be wearing the Crown pumps. I agree with the other posters who recommend getting a few sizes bc it ranges pretty widely for me. I can wear a size 5.5 in one shoe style and 4.5 in another shoe style.

I have just order the 2nd pair today, on he saks website they are described as pebble mary janes but here in the UK on the Jimmy Choo website they are called ‘Lace’

Anyway i tried them on at the weekend and found them true to size, I tried on a uk 7 and found them comfortable but there was a gap at the back, so tried on the 6.5 which were a perfect fit but uncomfortable, they rubbed on the side of my foot and pinched a bit at the toe. I don’t have wide feet. I think the 7 had been tried on more so were more broken in.

I have ordered them online so i can try them on around the house, if they dont break in i’ll send them back.

Hope this helps!

I have NEVER had or even heard of a comfy pair of heels but my Choos were probably the closest thing to it 🙂

I wore peeptoe slingbacks. The quality and craftsmanship was incomparable. They felt comfy for MOST of the night and I was able to walk the whole time very easily, but I still ended up with minor blisters on the little toes from where the peeptoes narrowed.
