I don't have any pics for you yet, but I am also a redhead and would love to see pics too!
I've been pinning redhead brides onto a Pinterest board for a while. Here are a few...

Same bride as above:

I don't have wedding makeup yet, but I'm a box red and my inspiration may come from 2bMrsG's wedding look! She looked so good!

Christina Hendricks does a great smokey eye with red hair. I think it looks awesome, but I'd go with not black/grey colors - try plum/purple shades, or darker gold/coppers. I think it looks beautiful with red hair! I had natural reddish hair, but I wish it was more orange!
I always keep a natural look. Smoky eyes look horrible on me.

Thank you everyone! @Mink... Thanks for all the pictures, I will definetly consider these :) I have been trying to get Pinterest to work for me for about a week now, but I can't figure it out. I have been invited and set up my account but nothing will load on my computer, but I can look at it from my phone, but the pictures are so small :(
Ahh I love these pictures!! I have been wondering the same thing about makeup so this thread was a huge help! YAY redheads!!
Lately, I've been looking to Christina Hendricks and Florence Welch (of Florence + The Machine) for inspiration. Neither of them are natural redheads, but Christina Hendricks has coloring very close to mine.
Other redheads I look to for inspiraton are Jenny Lewis, Karen Elson, Karen Gillan, Lily Cole, Olivia Grant, Amy Adams, Cintia Dicker, and Isla Fisher. Some are natural, some are not.
There is a british celebrity-- Nichola Roberts-- who I think is a natural redhead and sometimes she looks amazing! Other times... not so much.
You can do a "smokey eye" version with deep brown eyeliner, browns and bronze tones. I'm a redhead too so I feel your pain with not knowing what's going to look good!
I will be doing a smokey eye with dark browns and golds instead of the the traditional black + grey combo.
I'm a natural redhead and I don't think there's anything wrong with going the smokey eye route with our pale complexions!!! Have your makeup artist try it at the trial, I think you'll be suprised. Also, try the suggestions here of going the more bronzed or purple hues to set off your complexion and eye color. Also, you might try some fake eyelashes, nothing heavy but they will definitely create some drama to your look without any added makeup. The ones they sell at Walgreens work great and come in all sorts of thickness... and are cheap and easy to put on! Good luck!
Here are some photos that I have saved - I think the smokey eye look will work depending on your eyes. I have smaller eyelids so I am going to avoid it...lol, but that's just me. But it looks great on so many people! Dramatic and flattering. Have you had a makeup trial?

I'm doing a modest smokey eye in plum & lavender, and I'm a dark auburn with medium-fair skin tone. GL xx
There are so many variations to a smokey eye. It doesn't always have to be with black and gray colors. You can use brown or bronze or even greens. If it's done right, anyone with any hair color or complexion can pull it off. I have strawberry blonde hair, light eyes and a fair complexion and I do different smokey eyes all the time. Here are some ideas with smokey and nonsmokey eyes.

Don't be sorry!! They are a lot of help :) Thanks so much I really like them all.
I'm a natural ginger and haven't decided on the look for my wedding day either. I love doing smokey eye make up though! I've done it with everything from black to green to red to brown and purple. You can do a lot with a color and shade. :)
If you're a crier you should probably go with understated and classic makeup. I'm the same, so here are a few pictures from my inspiration book:

These are the best I could find. The girl that did my make up said that it's best if we go with a more natural look in the sense that she wanted to make sure that my eyes don't clash with my red hair. I think it worked out well :)

Here is a picture of how it looked like from far away.

These pictures are great inspiration. I have no idea what look I'm going to go for but I think I'm going to go for a lighter (closer to my natural color) auburn for the wedding. Right now I have a very dark/bright auburn and the colors that worked for me sort of changed when I darkened my hair.
I was so excited when I saw this post! I am a natural redhead (naturally copper but I tend to alter my hair color a lot with red low lights, blonde highlights). I'm also not a typical redhead because I'm such a mutt (I don't have the typical super pale skin, lots of freckles, red eyebrows), but I do love wearing makeup so here are some suggestions of what you could do with your makeup.
Here - I just used a mink brown eyeshadow (for a thicker, more dramatic look) into a fat cat-eye tail on the top and bottom line, some basic black mascara (although most redheads I would say use brown mascara instead) and I used TheBalm Overshadow on the rest of my eye (I SWEAR by this product - it's just a slight natural Mica dusting that glimmers - so gorgeous and affordable, check it out).

This picture of me is a bit darker in regards to the eyes but you can imagine how simple and elegant this can look when you keep your lips nude (I usually go for lighter pink shimmers with a nude base, but you might want to do to a mostly nude base with a pink tinge if your complexion is different than mine) and some translucent illuminating powder - it really POPS on us pale girls and doesn't cover the freckles at all and will last all day!)

This is an older pic of me from '08 but it's more of a grey smokey eye (it's when my hair was a darker red which I think can handle the under-eye shadow a bit better than a lighter auburn that you mentioned you'll have) so you might want to consider that because removing the under-eye liner and keeping a grey smokey eye (with some pink undertones) would be gorgeous on a red head.
Regarding celebrity redheads, I have always loved Angie Everhart's look, but she's a bit tanner than 'normal' redheads. Still, I think her general look (and what I've been saying) rings true here - a strong eye, great dark brown/black mascara, simple face powder and a light pink gloss.

I would 100% recommend looking at the palettes here http://www.toofaced.com/c-110-eye-shadow-collections.aspx . These are sold at Sephora stores (not at the ones in JC Penney, though, I think) and I personally think the Natural at Night and especially the Romantic eye collection would look great!
Hope you don't think I'm a weirdo for posting pics of me lol....just wanted to give you some pointers since I personally live by the smokey eye! Best of luck on your wedding day :)
soft purples and browns/neutrals are safer to go with. Definitely look at Isla Fisher and Scarlett Johansson (when she had red hair) because they both prefer a strong eye. I recently saw a great pic of Isla Fisher with a smoky eye, but I can't remember where =(
Well I'm not a redhead (faux red highlights/low lights) but I just thought I would mention that if you are very emotional I wouldn't recommend using air brush make-up. It is much more difficult (if not impossible) to touch up well when you cry compared to regular foundation.
@Treejewel19- Really? Someone told me that airbrush was my best bet because it is waterproof and it will look good even the next day...
These are some pics that I saved for inspiration. I'm a redhead (wait, what?) but I don't know what I'm doing yet for make-up. Even though Hils isn't a redhead, she's pretty fair.

@carrot12: While air brushing tends to last longer under heat/humidity etc it is like any other makeup in that it is not water proof....I mean you have to wash it off sometime right? I'm going off of my three make up trials (three different artists). Even with my watery eyes from a cold during my first trial it was pretty obvious the difference around my eyes between the air brush versus touched up make up.
The lady I booked that uses air brush (MAC) said she uses normal concealer under the eyes specifically because it is easier to touch up should tears flow. Air brushing is layered which is what makes it so amazing. To get the same effect you would need your make up artist to touch you up. Using your regular foundation later in the night (or powder) to fix any tear "spots" wouldn't look the same.
Again, that is just my experience and what I was told.
GAHH! I want to dye my hair a deep red and you guys aren't helping lol.
@Treejewel19- Thanks! I'll have to ask when I go into my trial on the 4th about the regular concealer under the eyes.... I'm completely lost when it comes to make-up, I don't even own any concealer or foundation to begin with! lol :)
Thanks for sharing Hillary's look there.... this is actually very close to what I want for my own wedding day and am worried that my makeup artist is going to err on the side of more neutral/more muted, which is just not me. Was looking for a good example of a good blended smokey eye, thanks :)

I'm starting to research some makeup ideas; I have decided that I want to get the airbrush makeup instead of the regular everyday wear.... I'm a crier! An emotional basketcase my friends say :) So I know there will be no stopping my tears on my big day! I want my makeup to stay as perfect as it was when it was put on. Now I just seen some ideas on how I want it done. I'm not big on wearing makeup, I have a pretty good complexion and I love my freckles so I don't want to cover them up, the only thing I ever wear is eyeliner and mascara. On the big day I want to look my best though, I love that smoky sexy look... unfortunately I don't think this will look good on me having a fair complexion and with red hair :( So... if any of you sexy redheads out there would like to share pictures of yourself in your wedding makeup I would greatly appreciate it.
