My wedding colors are plum and pewter! We want to put the bridesmaids in gray. I'll be watching this thread!
I have photos of two silver dresses from David's Bridal...they are from an iPhone when we went BM dress shopping. Let me know if you would like to see :)
Online Color Swatches are TOTALLY different than in person! I say order or go to some stores to look at these swatches in person! Alfred Angelo's Charcoal is much darker and not so "shiny" in person, which I LOVE. Davids Bridal, same thing, colors are very different, I even asked the consultant if my girls could *carefully* walk out into the sunlight when trying on "colors". They were TOTALLY different once out of the floursecent lighting. TAKE A CAMERA! Best of Luck! Our pick for our CHARCOAL bridesmaid dresses are from Alfred Angelo in Satin. We are also going to be trying on the new Vera Wang Charcoal this Sunday to see how that is in person!

yay! these are my colors too! My bridesmaids are wearing two silk chiffon dresses from j.crew in graphite and i am having purple flowers and accents. I think the two colors together are very elegant.

I'm not sure if you have looked at Simple Silhouettes (simpledress.com), but we got beautiful dark gray bridesmaid dresses from there. They have a few grays, but I choose "charcoal" in silk shantung.
@mannellal: Here you go..1st is the online shot of my BM dresses in cotton sateen, 2nd is textured satin, and 3rd is satin. Both photos taken in the store on an iPhone.
Thank you for all the replies ladies :) I went to see the Bill Levkoff Pewter color in Chiffon last night and it's really pretty! Has anyone seen the Pewter in comparison to the JCREW Graphite (LOVE!)? Are they similiar at all?
these are the bridesmaid dresses we went with - everyone really likes them, the color is very pretty in person - and they have pockets!
@MaryC140: One of my bridesmaids wore that dress, and it looked great! I had my bridesmaids do the mix n' match thing in different shades of silver/grey/pewter. Aside from the one I just mentioned, there was another dress from Nordstrom, one from J. Crew in "light pewter," one from Ann Taylor Loft, one from Target (!), and two from Alfred Angelo in "charcoal".
Hi! My fiance and I have the same color scheme...grey and purple! I am also looking at grey bridesmaid dresses. In fact, I was shopping all afternoon for a dress. So far, I have narrowed the it down to either Bill Levkoff's Pewter or Amsale's Charcoal (which isn't too dark of a color). Good luck in your search!

I'm a July 2012 bride aswell! And having silver BM dresses! Am buying mine from edressit.com. Seen another good copy of this dress (it's a copy of a designer dress) on lightinthebox.com aswell. 
Im a July 2012 bride as well. YAY! My colors are grey and yellow. Im using 3 different Alfred Sung Dresses all in Quarry.

The dresses are in the Dupioni fabric. Im kinda worried about it. I just hope the vision in my head comes to life.
My girls are wearing these dresses. They are Alfred Sung dresses in the "Quarry" colour.
They're really beautiful in real life, Im very happy with them!

I'm thinking about switching my wedding color from a deep purple to a silver/gray color. We're getting married in July 2012 and the shades of purple have been really difficult to work with. I've done a search, but not found any really helpful pictures of bridesmaid dress in the silver/gray colors I'm considering. For some reason, most seem to have photographed much more "blue" then I was hoping. If anyone has any "real" pictures they'd like to share of any of the following, that would be wonderful! :)
