titianjenn:  I want a white dress! Mint green sounds lovely though. 🙂

I wore a very subtle blush and got a lot of complements on the color. It looked much better on me than stark white.

Soon2BeMrsS:  my best friend is wearing that dress, in that color. she’s a very fair skinned redhead with blue eyes, and it looks fantastic with her coloring.

I am a pale redhead with green eyes and I am wearing an ivory dress. I tried on a LOT of dresses and ivory definitely looked the best – white or diamond white and blush kind of washed me out. I didn’t try any other colors. I think mint green looks great on redheads. 🙂

I’m a pale redhead with blue eyes. My dress is ivory. I didn’t try on other colors as I knew white dresses would look awful. I have a few mint green tops that I get compliments on a lot, especially when I wear them with rose gold jewelry.  I think that would look fabulous if you buy the right dress.

I have red hair and brown eyes.  I don’t have a dress yet, but I prefer ivory dresses.  White didn’t look too bad either.  I just really didn’t like diamond white, it washes out all my color.  I think some of it depends on the kind of fabric as well.  Lace or sheer fabrics can be a little more forgiving, while satin is a little more solid in color, I guess.  Green almost always looks great on redheads!  Personally, I would be a little nervous about mint because some pastel colors can wash me out.  Go try on the dress and post pictures.  I would love to see it!

Another red hair, brown eyes. I’m wearing ivory, but thinking of adding a blush lace jacket. I’m definately doing a lace jacket, just undecided on the colour, I may go with ivory once I try it on. Warmer whites definately suited me better.

I wore a fairly “dark” shade of ivory (but not champagne), and my waist ribbon had just the tiniest hint of pink in it in comparison to the dress.  I’m a redhead with a lot of pink undertones in my skin. If your skin has cooler undertones,  your results may vary. I’ll try to remember to come back to post a photo tomorrow.

I have red hair and blue eyes and I wore ivory, white looks horrible on me with my pale skin.

Red head green eyes and very pale. I wore ivory. White and Diamond white washed me out completely. Blush wasn’t an option when I bought my dress but I recently tried on a summer blush dress, blush did not look good on me at all.

titianjenn:  I have redhair, very dark brown eyes (almost black) and fair freckled skin. My dress is a soft ivory and I think it looks really nice. I tried white dresses and the only ones that didn’t make me look ‘pink and washed out’ were ones with late or sheerness near the neckline. White satin or tulle looked very stark on me, as much as I thought I would get white!

titianjenn:  I went with ivory. I was looking for blush, but the ivory looked so good, I had to go with it.

Have you tried on the mint green? I personally have a hard time with pastels in cool tones. While Kelly green and forest green look great with my hair and skin tone, I would, unfortunately, be completely washed out by a mint green.

What an interesting thread 🙂 I have red hair and blue eyes and haven’t tried on dresses yet but I have always thought ivory would look better than white but I’m torn, guess we’ll see 🙂
