I’m a total stress eater too!  One thing that really helps me is to go to the grocery store and take the time to make a lot of “healthy” snacks in ziplocs.   That way when I want a snack I have single servings ready to go.  So rather than sitting in front of the tv with a whole bag of chips, i only have a ziploc full of them.   It helps me from all of a sudden realizing I ate a whole bag!!

I would also try to exercise… i know its tough when you’re stressed, but even taking a walk around the block will help relases endorphins to clear your mind and also make sure that some of the calories are burned!

I am!!! I have a lot of friends who just lose their appetite when stressed, but I am the total opposite.

I’m always looking for tips, but what works for me (sometimes) is just not keeping snacks in the house. I have no self control so I just cant have it near me. Ive also been chugging water and green tea lately to try to curb my appetite, and its actually helping a bit

For example, to work i brought 2 yougurts (simple) and i added a lot of berries (blueberry, raspberry, myrtils..), also a big apple and a grilled chichen sandwich. Also i am drinking a lot of tea in between! Feeling lighter already Tongue Out! Also, instead of climbing up i run upstairs! Let’s see how it works till next week!

Lately, what I’ve found to help is keeping a huge bottle of water with me wherever I go and when I get stressed, I start to drink it. OK, chug it.

I also pinpoint what I’m craving and see what I can do to satisfy it. Chips? Try some Triscuits and hummus instead. Sweets? Have some iced coffee with a flavored creamer (make this at home so you have more control over it and be sure to drink an extra two glasses of water afterwards!).

I’m also taking more walks and bike rides. And gardening.
