I’m home alone and SO has left his email logged in…we share a laptop and often have joint holiday or flight emails sent to whoevers mail account so he has been super vigilant about logging out lately!
I know theres a mail in there about the setting he picked!! And we really both want the ring to be a surprise and in fairness I don’t think I have that many more months to wait
BUT I am too excited and it is literally taking every ounce of self control not to look….HELP!!!

Get yourself out of the house right now, lol. That would be too much temptation!

Oh man, I’ve been in a very similar situation. Definitely don’t snoop. It’s tempting, but it’s just not worth it. I learned my lesson the hard way on this. Our anniversary was in February, and he kept referencing how he’d bought me something expensive and custom, and the online store had been emailing him progress updates. I remember one day it hit me like a ton of bricks that it might possibly be a ring, and I stupidly snooped in his email (we have a similar email situation to you guys). I saw an email from Gemvara but didn’t open it, and I felt SO guilty for even snooping. Then I got my hopes up and started trying to figure out when he was going to propose, and it drove me crazy. Guess what? It wasn’t a ring! It was a custom necklace. I felt like such an ass. So, basically, long story short… nothing good comes from snooping! Just chill, find a hobby to distract yourself, and let it happen. 🙂

Brownbear23: Tell him to log out of that shit. That’s what I had to tell him to do. Log out, clear the browsing history, etc. It was too much temptation for me. I was weeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaakkkk.

“We both really want the ring to be a surprise” That would be enough to stop me looking, however tempted I was. Imagine your SO’s reaction if he found out you snooped. You’d be ruining things for him as well as yourself!

Thanks for all the slaps!! It was a bratty moment of possible temptatin but I didn’t look and won’t look !! I really do want the surprise and I keep hearing Anne Hathaway screaming at Kate Hudson in Bride Wars “he should see your face when you first see the ring” haha
It’s all in his hands now and I resolve not to snoop and not to mention it
eek so exciting !!!
