I am originally from Camden County, but currently residing in Ocean County. My wedding will be taken place outside both of those counties though.
Date: October 13, 2012
Venue: Smithville Inn, Smithville, NJ.
Photography: Undecided. I wanted to go with someone who was a local photographer in my hometown (Stratford), but they were way too expensive for my budget.
Florist: No flowers for me.
Color/theme: I'm undecided about colors as well. It's driving me nuts! But my theme is vintage/brooches/handkerchiefs mixed together.
What county are you from?
We grew up in, still live in, and will be marrying in Camden County! We can't seem to get away, haha! We met in high school, drifted apart when I went away to college, and reconnected last year!
Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! I've heard GREAT things about the Smithville Inn and it looks beautiful!!
How's your planning coming along?
@futuremrsmaista: That's awesome. I kind of miss the area, but it's been feeling so damn congested as of lately. I visit often to see my family. What high school did you two attend?
My planning is going pretty swell. It's in a lull right now because I have so much time. Only thing I need to figure out is the photographer and my damn colors. It's driving me absolutely nuts. Oh well. I'll bring my bridal magazine to work tonight since I was bored out my mind last night. How's your planning?

I grew up in Burlington county! I didn't get married there though but wanted to say hi anyway!
i grew up in cumberland county! im living at the shore now, but my wedding was at sacred heart church in vineland and a reception at the buena vista country club
my photographer was blue eyes photography
i didnt have any flowers :)
colors were navy, ivory and charcoal gray
@DesireeAnne: We both went to Haddon Township. What about you? We are in a lull, as well. We've booked pretty much everything, but we needed the long engagement to pay for it all! Only problem is, I'm completely getting sucked into all the little details and it's already starting to make me nuts! :)
@MissAsB and Locebird724: Yeeey! I'm glad to see other ladies from the area! I feel left out of the "regional" boards sometimes, because it seems like everyone is either from Philly area or more central/north jersey. There's not much action on these south jersey boards!!

That's how I feel about my wedding. It would've been sooner, but we both wanted a long engagement in order to have time to plan and pay for the wedding. I'm itching so bad though to jump the gun. I know it'll be worth it in the end though.

@DesireeAnne - I know!! I already have a HUGE DIY list that I could get a jump start on, but I feel like it's so far away that everything I make now will get messed up in the meantime!

@autumn865 - I am an "encore" bride, and I actually got married at Tavistock 8 years ago! It was beautiful and the service is great! Congrats!! (I love right down the road from there now!)
