Weddingbee boards

...SO dropped off a dozen roses while I was at work! :) when I called him to thank him I said "I thought we weren't getting each other any thing for Valentines Day" and he said "well, it's not Valentines Day, now is it?" 

We don't live together (both still at home with respective parents) so its very unexpected. The "wishful thinking" part of me thought maybe he was also stopping by to ask dad's permission before proposing, but I refuse to get my hopes up! 

I will take the sweet gesture as just that. It totally made my day!

Thanks everyone! It was super sweet. He's getting a bunch of cookies in return! 

On another note... (please, someone tell me to settle down and not get my hopes up!)...

My ring, that SO gave me for my birthday a few years ago, is missing! 

I took it off a couple of days ago while washing dishes and placed it on the window sill (as I always do when washing dishes). I went to put it on this morning, feeling very sentimental about the roses and whatnot and realized it was gone. I might be getting ahead of myself (i havent looked very hard) but is it just a coincidence  that it has disappeared after SO's visit yesterday? I don't know!! Maybe he's taken it for... sizing purposes?

Oh man... Trying not to think about this, but we do have a winter weekend getaway in Muskoka in 2 weeks...
