I love the way you incorporated camo! My fiance is the exact same way- everything would be camo if I didn’t have a say in it. I’m also thinking of getting my fiance a camo wedding band. He got me exactly what I wanted, and he deserves the same. Great job, very thoughtful of you!

I reallyyyyyy dislike camo, but it’s nice you’re doing that for him.

I expected to see some tacky things happening (not a camo fan), lol, but you incorporated it really well and it’s really cool that you’re letting him have some input. The ring is actually pretty neat! My fiance has one sort of similar but the middle part is rose wood. I was excited that he wanted something unique that he’ll love vs just a simple band he just wears because of tradition.

I think those are really great ways to incorporate something your FI loves! I opened this thread half expecting to see custom camo chivari seat cushions — LOL!

Camo is so not us, but I applaud you for incorporating for him in a subtle but classy way. 🙂 Good work!

Kellyconnelly:  I am doing the same things. My FI wanted a camo wedding too and I was like “HELL no!”. Very nice way to incorporate it.

I will admit, I saw the title and had visions of the Honey Boo Boo dress (all camo ball gown with a hunter’s orange sash) but wow! The ways you’re incorporating are clever, charming, and classy 🙂 Plus, compromise is so important … congrats!

My dh also rocks a camo wedding band. Our grooms cake was a giant camo cupcake, and our cake topper two moose since it was moose season.

when I asked dh what colour we should do for the wedding he replie with blaze orange. No. Just no.

PoppyH:  That’s so funny that you said that. When discussing wedding colors, my fiance suggested burnt orange. Sounds like our men would get along well!

Kellyconnelly:  ha! I will also be having a camo garter belt for the fiance’s sake! Hoping he laughs when he sees it 🙂

I think you are doing camo tastefully! Maybe do a grooms cake of a deer or something to make it playful. I currently know a bride who wants to do camo bridesmaid dresses and her groom in a camo tux with a camo belt of her dress. WAY to much and tacky. Lol.

I really like this.  I love details that are subtle but still have a personal touch to them.  Your FI’s wedding band is really cool too.  I have never seen camo detailing like that before.

Normally I dislike camo intensely but you’ve incorporated it in clever and thoughtful ways.

I also do not care for camo. As with most things, there is a way to tastefully include this element, just like u have done.
