I just can't do it! I hate bugs too much. When I leave the city and remember that mosquitoes exist I get sad... I couldn't imagine sleeping out in the open with them!
A nice cushy cabin I could do, though.
I love going camping!! I used to go with my family alll the time when I was young!! I cant wait to go this summer!

I like the great outdoors if there is access to real showers and bathrooms (no outhouses for me, sorry), and bug spray and not too many mosquitos. I love camping with my family best, because my parents and my brother always has all the camp gear and first aid and food I could ever want. My partner and I want to go, but I swear, if we see a spider in our tent he would flip out and that might be the end of it, haha.
hahaha last summer we went to a site that had no running water except for a well thingy only one outhouse and NO electricity that was a little harsh i have to admit but its just so fun to be out there...its kinda scary too and I like the thrill of it :)
I love going camping, I only like to rough it for a few days. However I took a friend along to our last trip. I did say to her there would be no power plugs in the shower area.. She still bought her hair straightner anyway!
Yes! The mister and I went camping up at Kettle Moraine a few years back for our anniversary, and it was such fun! If you're into cycling at all, we had a great time biking through the little towns along the Ozaukee trail while up there. Devil's Lake looks beautiful! I'll have to check it out...
I love camping more than almost anything! I have done multiple extended backpacking trips out west and lived outside 75% of the time in Hawaii for an entire summer (working for the Park Service). I grew up doing canoe trips, and my favorite- every summer we went on an extended fishing trip in Canada. I also grew up on a lake, river, and pond, so fishing is my favorite. I have also gone off-roading with "guys only," (mostly because other women never wanted to,) up into the mountains on fly-fishing trips. I hiked everyday I lived out west. I miss it! I also used to go to hotsprings every weekend, and did an entire year-long program in experiential education where we were outdoors (in all kinds of weather) 3 out of the 4 days of the week. ;)
Well T is an eagle scout and my son is going to be a boy scout next fall...and T's going to be one of the scout masters so I'd best get to likin' camping!
Personally (as if you couldn't have figured this one out) I never really did alot of camping and would prefer to be a "day camper" type of person (staying in hotel at night), but won't want to miss out on any of our fun with the family. I guess it'll grow on me :)

Sooo I love camping. I used to go all the time when I was younger and now we planned a trip at the end of May with a bunch of friends to Devil's Lake. I am so beyond excited It's going to be a fun 3 days! Do you bees like to be in the great outdoors? Most of my girlfriends hate it!
