After weeks of obsessive looking I found a dress I really like for my bridesmaids:

    http://www5.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=50434&CatID=64337&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=17057c0&attrtype=&attrvalue=&CMID=50434%7c50444%7c64335&Fltr=&Srt=&QL=F&IND=45&cmVirtualCat=&CmCatId=50434%7C50444%7C64335%7C64337

The problem is it only comes in black. And I want plum or eggplant dresses (a little lighter purple than eggplant if I'm being picky) with yellow and white daisy bouquets for them. Honestly, I would give that up just to have them wear these dresses, but my fiance hates the idea of black dresses and doesn't want them, although he likes the style of the dress too. I have a MOH and 1 bridesmaid, both are sort of busty and curvy, so I am trying to find something that will suit them. And my MOH HATES strapless, so that cuts out 80% of the possibilities, haha. I know she would wear one for me, but why make her uncomfortable?

If anyone has seen something similar to this dress in a color, purple or otherwise, I would be so grateful if you could pass it on to me! I want my bridesmaids to feel beautiful at my wedding and finding their dresses is harder than finding mine was.

If none of those work out for you, would you consider letting the girls wear the black dresses (they are a great LBD) and then they could wear purple shoes?

I love that dress!  It's jersey too which means it will feel oh so comfortable!

How about doing as Lillindy said and have them wear some eggplant purple shoes?

And maybe these buttery yellow flowers with some eggplant calla lillies and the black fiddlehead ferns like this?

My girls wore a dress that is very similar, but without the rosettes. And yes, it is a very flattering style! It's by B2 and they have a few different colors in the purple spectrum.

also, it appears you have enough time to get it made - would that be a possibility?

thank you all so much for your help- especially your QUICK responses (I am sure you all know the feeling of having 7 months til the wedding and yet you must find something NOW because of your own bizarre obsession with whatever wedding detail you have focused on for the day, right? haha). I like a lot of these! I am trying to stay on a relatively reasonable budget for the dress since my MOH is my sister and my bridesmaid is my fiance's sister (both in college) so our two sets of parents are probably going to end up with this cost as well as aaalll the other wedding costs besides what my fiance and i are paying out of our own pockets. That means we probably can't afford to get them made, but there are still a lot of options. Amour toujour, do you remember the price of that B2 dress? I really do like it but I can't seem to find the price range anywhere on the website.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they were around $150.
