The vendor who is putting together our reception wants to know how much we want to spend per table on decorations, place settings, etc. I was wondering what the average cost per table was to do this? I have no idea… she told me that we would probably need about ten to twelve tables. Thanks!

What is included in your pricing for the venue? do they include the table, the flatware, linens, etc?
It’s very hard to answer your question without knowing what you are already paying for the venue and what that includes.
Are you trying to itemize every thing, like every fork, spoon, knife along with floral arrangments? I’m a little confused by your question.

We are getting a wedding package through the wedding planner that includes everything but reception decor (ie. tables, place settings, lighting, flowers). The florist is taking care of all of that. I sent her pics of what I liked, and she emailed me back asking how much I was looking to spend per table to set it up and decorate at the reception. I am not quite sure how much reception costs are??? We are already paying to have the reception at the restaurant, so that cost is separate. This is only for the decor and flowers.

You need to ask the florist how much she charges for what you want. How much money are you willing and able to spend without going into debt? The price depends largely on where you are located as costs vary greatly depending on geographic location. Then it depends on how much the flowers and other decorations cost for the florist (as well as their markup that they charge you). Typically those things are a bulk sum, not itemized.
