Did the dress have any tag on it at all (even if it was the shady store's tag) and a item or style number? I have found that the shady shops arnt too creative w/ coming up w/ their own number and often use the number of the designer so if you can get ANY number off of the dress you can Google that and see what dresses are out there w/ that same item number. That is how I found mine bc the store I went to did the same thing!

I'm sorry that I can't be more of a help, but it really looks like a Pronovias gown with the lace and detail. You may want to check out their website and see if that gown is on there.

I feel like I just saw a very similar gown online - I was looking for lace/strapless myself. It looks a lot like watters style 9046B. They have pics of all of their dresses on their website. Good luck!

i dont think its the same Alfred dress... the one in OPs post looks a bit more formal/structured (although i really like the Alfred dress but its more beachy), i think the train is very different between the 2 dresses

I looked on pronovia and didnt see it. here a very very similar one at Davids for $699
just go in and try it on again, but this time, look at the inside of the dress. They must have the number written on it somwhere...its just a matter of finding it. Chances are, if they take all the tags off, they might give you a knockoff dress!

Thank you sooo much for your input! I have checked out all the links and I think they're all VERY similar, but I don't think they're the one! I am going to go back and see if I can find out any more information from the tag. They put their store name tag in there (to get around the FTC law), but they had a hanging tag with fabric info I think, so I will try to check there. They're very involved with helping me get dressed and rarely leave you alone with the dress! I have called repeatedly and said I am serious about the dress and need to know so I can make an informed decision, called again and just asked why they are withholding the info - all to no avail! :(
Another bit of info - I asked about having straps made for the dress, they said they called the manufacturer and it would be $250 for that... maybe if anyone has experience with custom changes...
If anyone else has any suggestions, I'm still completely open to them even if it means finding a dress very similar! I am determined not to spend my money at this shady joint!

I am in desperate need of help identifying this dress! I tried this on at one of those shady stores that removed all the tags and will not tell me the brand of this dress! I have searched everywhere and cannot find it. I just want to know who makes it and if it's worth the money! It's intricate beading throughout, with a scallop pattern right at the waist. It has buttons down the back with a zipper and a pretty long train. If anyone has any leads or suggestions, it would be so greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
