I have a makeup person and she is very reasonable (my MOH so she better be!) but I'm still searching for someone to do my hair. I would love to see some suggestions from bees in the GTA!
My Bridesmaids will be doing our make-up, she's a make up artist and one of our good friends is an hairstylist and she will be doing our hair. They are both excellent. They are both in Brampton, if any one of you would more information pm me :-)
I did a hair and make up trial at Hair District recently and while the price was right I would not recommend. They really botched both jobs quite royally. They were arguing with me about what I wanted, too. No eyeshadow does not equal pink and orange and shimmer. Looked like a flamingo took a dump on my face. The false lashes fell off in about 15 minutes after leaving the salon, too.

I will be having Jessica Jean Myers do my makeup (but she also does hair). I had a trial with her and was REALLY happy with how the makeup turned out. Highly recommend!
@justmoi22My Hair and Makeup trial is $180. My wedding day makeup is $100 and hair will be $90.
Also ask about an off season discount if your wedding isnt during the prime months.

Try looking on Kijiji for freelance makeup artist and hair stylists. I found my makeup artist there (still need to arrange a trial). It's a lot cheaper than most options :)
Im using Maureen Greenstein and Al Fortier for my wedding. They did my brothers and won a Wedluxe award. Both are amazing.and reasonably priced. My bridesmaids are 85$ for make up with air brushing and fake eyelashes.
I am also in Brampton and I have a really great hairstylist and make up artist that I am using. We used them for my sisters wedding and they are awesome and very reasonably priced as well. They both work from a salon but do it on the side as well. Hair is 30-50$ for bridesmaids depending on what they want. And make up is $50 a person and that includes fake eyelashes and application. I booked Melissa Burman of melismakeup.com. She's awesome!!! Very easy to work with, pays attention to detail, and extremely reasonable prices. She works hard to make sure she nails your look for the big day.
I highly recommend her to anyone looking for hair and makeup.
I've booked my hair with Denise at AXXESS in Whitby.. shes amazing and i highly recommend her, the salons number is 905 668 5000, give her a call for a quote!
I booked w/ Jen Schulz, she does both make-up and hair and was recommended to me through my best friend. I loved my hair and make-up at the trial, awesome to work with and patient with me wanting to try different looks/styles :) Her website is www.jenniferschulz.com
Shoot, I can't remember the name of the girl who did mine. I think it was $315 for hair and makeup for myself, 3 bridesmaids, plus makeup for my mom. So that's about $75 total per person, completely ignoring my mom.
She did a great job, too and was super nice.
I will have my makeup and hair done by Olivia Ha. check out her samples - she is amazing!
I'm using Alicia of EyeKandii. She is the sweetest and her styles are very versatile.
I'm bumping this since I've had a bit of change and need to find someone ASAP.
Any more suggestions??

Can anyone reccomend someone who does both hair and makeup for a reasonable rate? Some of the people I met at the Bridal Show wanted upwards of $250, and I thought that was a bit much.
