I admit it, I'm a bad Mexican. I don't speak Spanish, I listen to very little Mexican music, I hate beans (lmao, nobody get in a tizzy over this) & I do not care for spicy foods. But seeing as how half of our guests speak little English (FI's family) I'm in a bit of a pickle. FI is no help & I really don't want to ask his mom because she just tells me "Whatever you think". We haven't seen the dj again since giving him the deposit, and will soon schedule a meeting but I want to be prepared w/ a list of songs we definitely want played. So what better place to go to than The Hive? I just want opinions of great dance music in Spanish. It can be Salsa, Reggaton, Rock en Espanol, whatever...I just need some good dance music. Help me out here, Bees!

Marc Anthony- Que Precio tiene el cielo

Victor Manuel has good salsa songs

If anyone you know likes banda music maybe try Espinoza Paz's songs. I know nothing about banda, but he's not that bad

I would recommend any of Marc Anthony's salsa songs and DLG's salsa songs as well.  Manu Chao is also a great source for a more indie rock sound.  Also, Los Enanitos Verdes are great for Rock en Espanol.

Thanks girls :) I appreciate it.

I was hoping for faster stuff like Mesa Que Mas Aplauda, Dile, La Vida Es Un Carnaval, etc. Idk what kind of genre you could classify that as. Any other suggestions?

If you want faster stuff look more towards merengue songs because those are really fast like Omega y el mambo violento (thats one band)/ and its easier to find mixes of those songs so its more club like then just merengue.
