I received a CHI Pro hairdryer several years ago as a birthday gift. Shortly after, the heating element went out. I bought myself another one, and the same thing happened. My dad used to be an electronics technician, so I took that one apart and fixed it. It worked for several years, but has broken again. I can’t get it to work this time.
I liked how powerful the dryer was. Anybody have any suggestions for another brand of dryer that works similarly?

Bay bliss is good. I personally love T3. I’m a hair stylist if that helps.

@strawbabies: I have a T3, been using it for about 4-5 years now and I love it. I have very thick hair and this dries it a lot faster and smoother than some others.

Conair Silver Bird. I got mine from Sally’s. It’s what my hairdresser swore by so I got one and it is great!

@strawbabies: Babyliss is great! I was a stylist for a little over 4 years and used that thing daily on several clients- still works to this day, just like it is brand new!

@strawbabies: I don’t own a hair dryer, so I can’t really help you out.. haha

Another vote for Babyliss. I don’t know the model of mine but it’s red lol.

I have had a Conair Ion Shine for about 6 years and that thing has held up WONDERFULLY. I got it at Costco for about $40, but it’s probably less expensive now. It came with 3 different attachments, too.
