I’m a big gamer, and I have really enjoyed my Kinect for XBOX 360, but unfortunately with my workout routine I have completed just about everything with Kinect Adventures, and it’s hard to keep motivated when you’ve already done something, lol. (I have 29 of the 32 achievements.)
Has anyone played some fun fitness games for the Kinect? Can you get any achievements from them?

I like the Kinect Sports (kind of like the Olympics, and similar to Kinect adventures). I also have the black eyed peas experience ( I love the band and the dancing is fun) as well as Just Dance.

I love Dance Central. It’s not really a fitness game but it has a fitness aspect.

@Handful: Dance Central!!!
It made it so fun! I loved it. And my SO thought I was hilarious when one of the songs would come on the radio that was on the game, and I’d start doing the hand motions or more if I could. Lol

Dance central is “meh” for me. I have DC3 and imported all the songs from DC1 and DC2, but I still feel lukewarm about it. I don’t like how hard it tries to be “legit”.
Just dance 3/Greatest Hits/4 are fantastic dance games, though. They are more lighthearted and fun, IMO.

@misskittenn: Pharmy may have a good point, DC does try really hard, and you do have to move EXACTLY right to get the move points or whatever. However, the achievments aren’t easy to get, which is more fun I believe. There is one for burning 3000 calories (not all in one sitting, mind you!)
I hadn’t read the part about the achievments, but my SO and I tried, because he’s an achievement whore (his words!). We got over 50% of them. I was so sore for about three weeks because of that.

I have zumba. Its ok, def a work out but get sick of the music. Just got the coutnry dance one too. Any of the dance ones are fun and gets you moving but isn’t fitness specific.

I love most of the dancing games, but my favorite has to be Just Dance 4. The music is excellent, it’s tons of fun to play, and it’s really addicting!
