I’m having a hard time coming up with ideas on what to wear with my dress. I like the idea of a statement necklace, but haven’t found anything in my price range or anything that I could actually try on. I’m open to any kind of suggestions.
This is my dress:

@SouthernGirl: Are you also wearing a veil? If not, I’d go with a hair flower similar to the one attached to the dress. But if you’re wearing a veil, a very small and delicate necklace would be great, or maybe a delicate bracelet, or a pair of earrings (but it depends on how you plan on wearing your hair of course). Either way, I’d keep accessories down to minimum, the dress is wonderfully detailed and a statement necklace would take away from it, I’m afraid. You look great in your dress, btw 🙂

@SouthernGirl: I’m not a fan of statement necklaces with wedding dresses, because I think it distracts from the beauty of your dress!! I have a similar neckline as well and I am going sans necklace. What about a great pair of earrings? Something like this:

@MsMeow: I am wearing a veil with my half up, half down. Maybe statement necklace isn’t the right word? I’m not super fashionable or anything. The necklace I originally looked at was a double strand of pearls with a small brooch on it. I can’t seem to attach a photo of it, but it wasn’t super big and in your face. I just didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on jewelry that I really didn’t know would work or not.
@AirForceWife78: Those are gorgeous!

I love the earrings! If you hairstyle exposes your ears, that would look absolutely gorgeous and it’s all the jewellery you’ll need on your big day.
I love the idea of a necklace that you describe but I’m not 100% sure it would work with your dress. If your hairstyle doesn’t allow for earrings (or else you decide against them) I’d try a thin chain necklace with a small pearl or Swarowski crystal pendant. I really think you need something quite small and delicate that won’t take away from your pretty dress. The petal-like fabric really speaks for itself!
