measure the mm w/ a ruler for a general idea. This chart is not to scale so you’ll have to measure your stone and look on the chart. For example 4.1mm is 1/4 ct diamond (.25). You could always stop by a jewelers who could eyeball it and give you an approximate.

I’d guess around 1/3 ct center stone.

It’s really hard to tell. Although there are “standard”  mm sizes for diamonds, many diamonds are not “true to size”. This means that the diamond will be a shallower cut and appear to face up larger.  This type of cut is much more prone to cracks.

To know the true size, you will need to have your FI ask his uncle. Also, if you/FI got an appraisal on the ring for insurance purposes, the diamond size and specs should be on the appraisal.

I would guess between a 1/4 and a 1/3 carat.  It is a S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G ring!

At first glance knowing that your ring finger is size 4.5 I’d be guessing based on “finger coverage” that it is around a 1/4 to 1/3 Carat **

See the chart below for examples on Finger Coverage

As the other Bees have said you can also measure the actual Diamond… as they have a specs within a range when it comes to “Carat Size” in mms.

** As well… you should be aware that when someone says 1/4 Carat or a 1/3 Carat, that also has a set range…

Example, a 1/4 Carat Stone can be anywhere from 0.23 to 0.28 in size, and a 1/3 Carat anywhere from 0.29 to 0.36

Hope this helps,

PS… BTW, your ERing is GORGEOUS.  CONGRATULATIONS on your recent Engagement.
