(Closed) can halos accommodate a larger center stone?

I would think that either 1) the head/basket of the ring would need to be remade to fit the new center stone or 2) they can fit in the new stone, but it will sit above the halo.

 

I would definitely ask your jeweler, though.

@KatyYoung:  It depends. Some halos are made for a certain range of stone and can accommodate bigger diamonds, whereas others are made to fit your exact stone.  Either way, I’d think going from .8 to 1.5 would not work.

I think this is something you have to ask your jeweler. It will depend on the size of the head/basket and the difference in diameter of the stones.

On the verrgio website it says that most of them can accomadate up to 5 carats. I think it depends on your style
