- Wedding: July 2014
We’re pretty sure that we’re having our wedding at a venue that has no guaranteed parking (popular beach, summer day, no spots guaranteed except for dropoff). To deal with this, we’re chartering a bus to shuttle guests to and from the wedding. Most of my guests are out of town, and many are students, so this also gives them the option to not rent cars.
I assume many guests will still prefer to rent cars and drive themselves to the wedding. The number of busses I need is obviously dependent on how many people want a ride.
Can I ask people if they would like a spot on the bus after I ask them if they want fish or chicken, or is this rude? I can obviously just charter an extra bus, but I would prefer not to have an extra for cost reasons. I’m primarily concerned with the number of people who need a shuttle to the wedding, since we can always go in two groups on the way back, if people drink more than they plan to and need a safe ride back.
